Investigators
The Investigator is the most adventurous of the professions. He usually keeps a firearm for protection, and he knows a trick or two for staying alive. He has the best aim of any profession, and can cause the most damage with guns. Investigators are intelligent, and can use technology fairly well if their guns fail them. They're good at finding clues for quests, using disguises and hiding to avoid potentially dangerous situations. They don't use any forms of magic, and their experience with the occult is limited. If you want to become an Investigator, look for |Arkham Investigations|, located in the |East| side of Arkham. It's a small building on the North side of the Miskatonic River. Talk to a man named Hawkings, he's got some more information on their skills. To get to Arkham, you exit the Student Union (the building New Players start in), and go South through the University until you exit down the path.
